As humans we have influences, those that incline upon us to carry out a task or give you an idea about what to create. This we to refer to as our inspiration. It is what keeps us going and motivates us into carrying out an activity to its logical end.
On the other hand, planning involves coming up with a set of related activities all meant towards achieving a desired objective. It is conducted while keeping in mind a desired goal. This serves to regularly remind the planner of the activities he committed to do in his future as he goes about his routine.
True warriors plan. But where is the motivation drawn from? A number of motivators exist and they include; the contentment and happiness derived from the activity. Having awareness of such benefits and the ability of an individual to take control of his life and schedule, true warriors will always plan.
This is a very open secret amongst athletes as is evidenced by the tireless preparations they undergo in preparation for a completion. Mo Farah is a perfect example of this, travelling thousands of kilometers from the UK to Kenya for special training, months before he is set to compete. This however does boost his performance as a long distance runner and marathoner to champion status.
As a daily Warrior then we should align our activities in such a way that they are always planned, working towards achieving a desired objective. We should also count towards improved performance and attainment our objectives as motivation towards planning. This will enable us be champions in our own field and in our own right. In the process we shall surely be helping us lead happier, fruitful lives.
Communication is also important to warriors as they plan. By sharing your plans with those close to you, and those the plan shall affect, you drive yourself to ensure you actualize the plan as they will be expecting you to do so. By letting this close circle of friends know of your plans, you are also showing them you love them enough to take them into account while planning. This circle of friends varies and it is up to you to determine who it shall comprise of but generally it shall include your spouse, business partner team mate etc.
While planning, proper knowledge of the goals is essential. This motivates you enough to keep tracking your actions, reviewing and correcting them from time to time to guarantee they are in line with the plan. The act of constantly reviewing the plan and with clear, intelligent and attainable objectives will result in the making of a good plan and the spirit to actualize it.
Last but not least, are emotions. They are another motivating factor that should encourage us to do so. The expectations we have, joy, sadness, happiness etc. Will all influence our planning. Imagine for a second, your future, what do you expect? What more can you achieve should you work harder for it? Your expectations must be building up already. Now imagine what would occur if you decided not to work harder and plan? Not a chance right?
